Beautiful sewing machine in very good condition. The light works and a bulb is included. The motor comes on when the foot pedal is pressed, but the belt has dried out and slips on the wheel. The belt will need to be replaced. The machine operates smoothly when the wheel is turned by hand and the needle moves freely up and down. There was a sample of stitching in place under the foot, so the machine was sewing well when last used. I\'m not sure when that was or when it was last serviced.

My mother gave me this machine over 15 years ago. I have not used it and kept it in its case in the closet. The case is original, however it is not in as good condition as the machine. The handle is broken and only partially attached, and the case is a bit scuffed up and shabby looking.

The machine itself is in impressive condition for being 53 years old. There are no scratches or chips to the paint on the body, and the finish is still bright and smooth. The machine is very clean and well oiled. It has been well taken care of. The Serial Number is EV977717 and it was manufactured in Scotland.
