What a treasure! Hefty metal antique Asian Japanese Ginbari enamel turquoise with pale yellow, white, purple and green flowers hexagon pendant. This stunning piece is approximately 1 1/4\" in diameter by 1/8\" thick and weighs approximately 14 grams. It has a stunning Ginbari enamel design of a lovely hanging flowering plant. My pictures could not capture the exquisite artistic detail on this pendant. About 30 years ago I purchased an incredible antique Japanese enamel belt at a lovely little antique store in Iowa. This belt was made up of 12 individual sections, each of which had a uniquely different Ginbari enamel oriental scene of various birds and flowers. The belt was missing some metal dividers, so I carefully removed each piece with the idea of making them into pendants. Well, 30 years have passed and I still haven\'t done anything with them, so I am now selling them. This piece was created by a true enamel artisan. The work is delicate perfection. There is minor surface wear in some spots, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of this very old piece. Antique Japanese Ginbari enamel pieces are not common.
