This Shell Oil promotional game, \"Mr. President,\" piece was produced in 1968 by the Franklin Mint for Shell Oil in response to the great interest in the 1968 Nixon/Humphrey presidential election. Participants got a coin for each visit to a Shell gasoline station. When you collected certain sets, you would redeem them for a prize. Complete sets are rare as certain key game pieces were scare and if obtained, most likely redeemed for the prize.
