This is an original World War 1 Travel Warrant issued by the Commander at Milford Haven on Feb 1st 1919 for Lt Heslehurst for Leave prior to Demobilisation.It is for Milford Haven to York and return and mentions Forge Valley, which is near Scarborough, Nth Yorks.He was attached to HMS Idaho which was the name given to the Auxillary Patrol Base at Milford Haven. It was named after a requisitioned steam yacht which was subsequently armed.The base closed in October 1919.The Warrant is whole but has been folded and kept in that condition.It will be posted out in a hard backed envelope.
