You are offerding on a vintage antique organdy linen tablecloth. IT'S ENTIRELY & EXPERTLY HAND MADE! Peach and grayish blue accents. It has a pinhole, see close up with pen. IT'S VERY ELEGANT! I have not washed it and it has a few specks on it from sitting in a drawer for a long time. They should come right out. The measurements are 51x50 inches. The work on this fine tablecloth is exquisite. A rare find. I took pictures of it with a white tablecloth underneath and some pics with a black one under it. I will be shipping this tablecloth in a flat rate envelope. If you prefer a box let me know before you pay so that I can adjust the shipping charges accordingly.

MADEIRA...WHAT IS IT...A HISTORY? Madeira is a Portuguese Island SW of Portugal. For 100s of years the women on this island have taught their daughters handwork. These highly skilled embroidery & needlework techniques are known as Madeira. The women of Madeira have been creating the finest embroidery known since the early 1800's. They only use the finest of linens to embroider on... like organdy & Irish linen. They incorporate highly skilled handwork such as Broderie Anglaise Eyelet, Richelieu Cutwork & heavily padded satin stitches on their exquisite & expertly made textiles. Some of the larger, more ornate tablecloths were created by several embroideresses & still took months & sometimes years to finish. All authentic Madeira is made in MADEIRA Portugal.
