I have for sale a Vintage hand embroidered picture panel of a large blue/green Peacock, his magnificent tail spread out behind him - just so beautiful. Expertly Hand embroidered using some silky type treads, on a light coffee /late fine ground.

It is in Excellent Vintage condition

Wonderful to frame or make a cushion front or fire-screen :)

Now that has been said- a little about me :) - I am obsessed with collecting vintage textiles and other interesting treasures ~ This has been a lifelong interest of mine :) \"I find these gorgeous \'treasures\' and bring them \'back to life\' just for you\" :) Embroidery work is such a lost art ~ it is not as common as it was in our GrandMothers Days, and to the standard they were taught as part of \'getting ready to run their own homes\' ~ I think about the person who has spent so many hours making such beautiful linens. It truly is a lost art, and the gorgeous \'treasures\' are getting very hard to find!! ~ and so I gather them to offer to you :)

They are all washed and lightly pressed, ready to use in your home or for your own collection :)
