Forsale is an original, vintage, WW II, US Army, Air Force Flyer Pilot Helmet SummerCap. Made by the Bates Shoe Company. Label on the inside Is marked: SPEC AN-H-15,Size Large, Order No. 44-2881-AF, ST. NO. 8300-401510. Bates Shoe Co. Army AirForces. The leather padded ear holes and chin strap show some age, but are still soft. The clothcap is in very good to Excellent Condition. This is an actual WWII aviator’scloth helmet. Not a replica.
