For your consideration is avery nice1942, WW 2German K-98 bayonet measuring 15\" long with a 10\" blade in excellent condition, having most of the bluing on the blade with a little smudging towards the tip. There is no rusting on the blade, nicks, etc.and has never been sharpened. A little discoloration on the hilt and shows some very light rust on the pommel. Lock button works fine, has wood handles with great patina and is an overall great piece only having some minor aging issues that can be expected. The bayonet comes with a dent free scabbard only showing some discoloration. The scabbard is not original to the bayonet,does not have a frog and is an early war piece dated 1939. This is a very collectable bayonet that will bea fine addition to your collection of WW 2 artifacts.
