WW1 German Trench Knife / Utility Knife, the over all length is 8 3/4\'\' with a 4\'\' blade. The blade shows some light scratches, light sharpening, age darkening and a small pitting spot towards the point. The blade is not maker marked. The stag handle is in good condition with no cracks or splits. The pommel plate is dented. The knife is solid with nothing loose. The brown leather scabbard is in good condition, but does show drying and cracking. This kind of Jager knives were carried as an all purpose knife by the soldiers.
