Authentic WW1 German flap holster that could fit either Walther model 4, Mauser Model 1914, or Sauer Model 1913. Also could fit similar sized 6.35mm handguns.A PPK fits perfectly, but didn\'t exist in 1918.

Black leather construction holster with steel fittings features a fold over top flap with a closure strap. The left side forward edge of the holster body has a brass stud to the obverse. The closure strap was designed to affix to the stud for a secure closure. The right side forward edge of the holster body has a stitched on spare magazine pocket. The holster has a belt loop attachment consisting of one vertical strap machined stitched to the reverse.

There are a few markings on the holster and it is full of history. The inside of the flap is marked with an impressed manufacturer stamp and year it was made in. A part of the marking is smudged, but most likely the holster was produced in Berlin in 1918. Also, the outside of the flap has an impression number of the unit the owner was serving at \"L.I.R.387.”. During WW1 the 387 LR was part of the 20 Landwehr-Infantry Division, which was raised in 1916 and battled on the Western Front until December 1917. It spent 1918 battling on the Eastern Front.

The holster is in excellent condition considering it is 100 years old with soft and supple leather. The stitching and rivets are nice and tight. The holster is all complete, including a belt loop on the rear, a flap strap and stud, and a spare mag pocket. Stitching is completely original with no missing stitches.
