- Welcome -Offering for sale is one antique 19mm WW1 B.Y. Pippey Co. N.Y. Gold Gilt High Domed U.S. Marine Corps Eagle Anchor USMC Officers Dress Uniform Cuff Button. Sale is for one 8mm tall gilt high 19mm wide domed button. We found this in a large Marine Corp button collection that we are selling. We have several for sale that are in the same near mint condition. It is in near mint condition; it appears to have been stored very well all these years andthey look unused with almost all of the gilt intact. Minimal storage wear; the shanks are straight, strong and sturdy; soldered in place. Back mark is B.Y. Pippey Co. N.Y. From what we could find out, they were in business near the turn of the century until the early 1900\'s in NY and New Jersey. They are rare button manufacturer; they are the only ones we have ever seen. These are solid brass and the shanks are also soldered.
