Item description

You are offerding for aWW1 Imperial German/Austrian entrenching tool and leather cover in fair used condition.The entrenching tool is complete but shows age related wear to the metal parts of the tool, all the rivets are tight with one having a head missing but still tight to the entrenching tool head and the wooden handle has no damage which does show age related wear.The leather cover is supple but again shows age related wear and tear and again has no damage, the leather cover does have the letters T D I I stamped into the leather which I would assume is a makers mark.The en-trenching tool has no visible markings that can be seen the entrenching tool has been sharpened on the end with a saw edge on one side which is rare to find and shows the brutality of trench warfare .
