Original WW1 Prussian Army Veteran\'s Dress Cap for Flying, Field Artillery or Transport Units (WK1 Schirmmütze für Kyffhäuserbund Offiziere der Feldartillerie, Verkehrs- und Fliegertruppen).Cap has one larger and a few small moth holes on the top, and a couple of small \'grazed\' areas. Bottom Piping has some small sections of moth damage. The leather peak has no surface crazing, or any damage. The stitching on the sweatband is complete and undamaged. Sweatband still intact and complete. The lining is not stained from use. Please see photographs.The cap has a pair of cockades for the state of Prussia. The state cockade has a Landwehr cross in the centre.The cap is identical to the standard officer\'s pattern for WW1, with an off brown fabric lining. Top is dark blue with black velvet band, red piping top and bottom, and white piping in the centre.This pattern was used during and immediately after WW1 by veterans and those invalided out of active service.Cap is marked with a silver imperial eagle inside a large shield. This is an Original Period item, not a replica.Due to the value of this item, it must be sent registered mail or be collected from my location..I will combine shipping for multiple purchases.
