Up for sale is a WW1 US Army captain\'s uniform. Tunic is a 38R, with 15\" collar. Bakelite buttons, collar badges for United States Reserves and the 9th New York Artillery, officer insignia are bullion captain\'s bars. The collar brass is not original to the jacket (I added them), but the captain\'s bars might be - not sure, so I\'ll leave it to you experts. There are only a few tiny moth bites on the back (see photo). The breeches are 31x28, match perfectly with the tunic, with only a few tiny moth bites on the left knee (see photo). Neither tunic nor breeches have a tailor\'s label, or any evidence of having had one. This is honestly one of the finest WW1 officer\'s uniforms I\'ve ever encountered, let alone owned.
