This came to me covered in cosmoline and wrapped in old newspaper. Was markedEnfield 1914. This is the lower (rear) handguard in walnut. Should also fit US M1917 rifles in .30-06.

100 year old military surplus in good condition. Small chip at rear lower edge. (see pics)

10 3/8inches long.No visible markings.

Pins are all present. The front pin recesses have remnants of red paint. The Brits painted a red stripe to show .30-06 chambering on lend lease/home guard M1917 rifles.
