saleis for a pair of World War II Japanese Imperial Army Officer\'s Brown Leather CavalryBoots. The heels of the boots werespecially designed to hold spurs - see photos.On the sole of the boots is a carved seal of manufacturing and age but Icannot read it andall the seams on the boots look in great shape. On the upper portion ofeach boot is the number \"107\" and the boots some definite signs ofage (wear & tear such as scuff marks, nicks, scratches, etc.) that one wouldexpect with boots that were actually worn in the field and are 70 years orolder. However, the leather is stillsoft and pliable - not stiff in any areas I can find - note: these boots havebeen well cared for since they came into my possession and I have treated them annuallywith saddle soap to maintain the leather.The soles of the boots are still in good condition for the age of theboots and there is some rust to the metal cleats. The boot inserts are original and stillintact. The boots are 16 1/2 inches talland the sole, measured from the outside is approximately 11inches long and 4inches wide. Overall, this is awonderful pair of vintage Japanese Imperial Army boots and would make a greataddition to anyone\'s WWII Japanese military display collection. Black light/UV tested.
Provenance:Itemis from my personal collection, however, I do not have anymore information on the owner or other historical information on this item. Remember to check back now and then to seewhat is new because I am selling a lot of military equipment, which oncebelonged to my father, uncles and father-in-law, who all served during WorldWar II as well as items I no longer need.Finally, always remember that these items are decades old (some morethan 70 years) and even if unused or light usage, they will still show signs ofvestige of age. These items are original time period.
