Original WW2 German Air Force Flight or Parachutist Senior Lieutenant\'s shoulder board pair (Luftwaffe Oberleutnant Schulterklappen für das Fliegende Personal bzw. Fallschirmtruppe).Standard sew in pattern used on a range of uniform items.Has the standard Golden Yellow (goldgelb) underlay material to denote Flight or Parachutist arm.These boards have been removed from a uniform, but are still in good condition (see photographs). They are in very good condition. They are the sew in format. The underlay is a soft wool, and shows no signs of mothing. Braid is the matt finish type usually used on field and flying uniforms. Matched pair. Each board has a single pip attached.Pips are gilt plated white metal and some of the plating has worn off. 16 mm (.62 in) high.118.2mm (4.28 in) long edge.
