Original WW2 German Navy Sleeve Insignia for a Musician Petty Officer (Kriegsmarine Ärmelabzeichen für ein Musikmaat).Standard Summer pattern used on a range of uniform items.This insignia has never been sewn on a uniform. Overall it is in Good condition. Base material is a white ribbed cotton which has no obvious stains and is otherwise intact although it is somewhat distorted (not sitting flat). Edged with white cotton tape. It has off white coarse cotton material on the back. Embroidery is in dark blue cotton and is tight. It has remnants of glue and paper on the back, as it had been displayed stuck to a board.Worn on the left upper arm.Not marked.44.1 mm (1.73 in) from embroidered left to right.
