UNUSED decent CLEAN condition...see ALL images....I think you will agreeSPECS:
-type 8 high pressure plastic liner (Oosterman classification)
-FIRESTONE mfgr logo mold marked with \'21\' batch lot below the stylized \'F\'
-khaki tan HBT multiple-Vee web suspension....ink stamped \'VF\' in one place
CONDITION: FREE of sweat-stains, ....has some age storage discoloration
NO TEARS, NO RIPS,
NO REPAIRS...-corrosion inhibitor coated finish on the inverted A washers..
-some minor abrasing inside - along inner circumference
-undimpled brass metal garter studs w/ corrosion inhibitor coating
-has some textured phenolic resin OD exterior factory finish which is 98% present
minimal scratches/abrasion scrapes....MINOR
surface is NOT WORN SMOOTH! -center brass eyelet grommet has its OD paint finish intact
-center tightener HBT khaki lace is ROUND type....-CONDITION - NO edge tears or dings or chipping.
basically a 100% honest late war liner that was UNTOUCHED by any helmet rebuilder.
