WW2 USN DRIFT SIGHT MARK VI KOLLSMAN INSTRUMENTS NEW YORK:
$195.00

Up for offer is a original WW2 DRIFT SIGHT MARK VI KOLLSMANINSTRUMENT BU, AERO, U. S. NAVYF.S.S.C NO. 88-S-860-100 CONTRACT NO. NOa (s) 3243, used for calculating the patterns of the bombing ordinance released from aircraft during bombing missions. I found this information on the net and I am not an expert in this field. This is a Navy issue drift sight made by the Kollsman Instrument Division Of SQUARE D COMPANY Elmhurst, New York. It measures approximately 35\" x 9\" x 9\". I found this rare drift sight at a collectors estate sale in Houston, TX, where there were other WW2items. All the lensesappear in working order and not cracked, except this drift site will need a good lens cleaning as I bought this in original condition and I did not want to clean due to possible scratching of the lens. It appears to have been powered by a 24v cord, which is not included, but is an easy fix even in todays standards. The printer on this drift site works when the switch is engaged and the printer tape actually prints out to this day which is amazing. It comes with a spare bulb and spare stylus. I have tried to show every detail in my pictures. Please email with if you have any questions. I accept payment at Pay Pal. Thanks for visiting my sale.
