Very fine condition original WWI era British Pattern 1903 leather bandolier that was designed to hold 50 rounds of ammo for the Enfield rifle (10 clips of 5 rounds each). Leather is soft and supple with black color and shows only a little normal wear. Rivets are nice and tight. Bandolier is all complete including brass buckles and stud, flaps, and internal dividers. Clearly manufacturer marked BARROW HEPBURN & GALE LTD. LONDON and dated 1922. A choice condition example of this hard to find classic piece of WWI British field gear that will make a fine addition to your collection.
