Very good condition WWI US Army Model 1913 Patton CavalrySaber sword. Maker marked “L.F.&C.” on the left ricasso for Landers, Frary,& Clark and dated 1918 with a flaming bomb proof. Right ricasso is marked“U.S.” with an eagle head proof. 35” blade has nice original bright finish withsome scattered gray. Never sharpened. Remaining metal finish is nice originalblack paint. Hard rubber grips have a good tight fit and crisp originalcheckering. No cracks or chips. Fitted in correct original canvas coveredrawhide scabbard that has steel throat and tip. Canvas has been paintedblackish. Throat has a few dents. A classic Patton sword for your collection.
