WWII/ WW2 U.S. Army, 8th Infantry Division, Soldier’s Grouping, Photographs & Letters, eight (8) items. All from a U.S. Army Soldier serving in the 12th Engineer Combat Battalion of the 8th Infantry Division. All of the items in the grouping are in excellent condition. Grouping consists of two (2) theater printed Christmas Cards. One (1) of the Cards has “8th Infantry Division, 1944” and is dated Nov. 19, 1944. The Second Card has the 12th Engineer Combat Battalion Insignia, along with the 8th Infantry Division Insignia and is dated Nov. 26, 1944. There are several photographs of the Soldier. One of the photographs is in full color and another photograph shows the Soldier in full uniform with his 8th Infantry Division Shoulder Patch on his uniform. There are also a couple of other photographs showing the same Soldier sitting on a large Motorcycle and also the same Soldier standing next to an automobile. The Photographs in the cardboard frames measures about 5 3/8” x 3 5/8” inches each. I can only find the Soldier’s first name written onto the Christmas letters “Joey”.
