WWII 101st Airborne Paratrooper Parachute Jumper Jacket ATF At The Front; 44R:
$78.77

At the Front, also ATF Mfg, is an American company that makes realistic reproductions of US Army uniforms and other items.
The jacket has also a reproduction cloth tag resembling one what you would find in the original item. The tag gives the official name of the jacket (Coat, Parachute Jumper), gives the name of the contractor as ATF Mfg, and even says the jacket was made under a Philadelphia QM Depot Purchase Order No. 1226, dated March 31, 1942.
The jacket has a shiny metal Talon zipper that is also a good reproduction, and the narrow zippered pencil pocket near the collar (we put a vintage pencil there so you could see the pocket: the vintage pencil is NOT part of this sale, please be advised).
The snaps are identified as having been made by Scovill Mfg Co.
This version of the jacket they sell for a little bit higher price than the \"plain\" one: it has two things you have to pay additional for, the 101st Airborne \"red tongue\" patch (of course, the eagle is the one with the red tongue), and rank chevrons.
It has reinforced pockets and reinforced seams on the pockets, etc. It has the little breather holes in the underarms as well.
Please check all the photos for those and other details. The jacket is size 44 R. Actual measurements, when flat on a desk: 25\" pit to pit across the chest; 25\" from shoulder seam to edge of cuff; 19\" shoulder to shoulder across the front of the jacket; 30\" from collar seam to hem along the back.
