German Soldbuch WW2, belonging to Marine Obergefreiter, (Marine Corporal), Franz Giflpforg. Soldbuch discharged on July 21, 1944. Soldbuch This is a second edition, as previous data are dated in 1942 and 1943. Belonged to 2 MARINE ERSATZ ABTEILUNG, Feldpostnummer: 42967, stationed in Wilhelmshaven German shipyards, between the coasts of Denmark and the Netherlands, responsible for surveillance of the North Sea and patrols by the Channel.This soldier was awarded twice: on July 26, 1942 he was awarded the Badge of Miners (Minensuch Abzeichen), by placing sea mines or anti-submarine warfare.
