I purchased this ring with a lot of military stuff. Their family had a Lt. Colonal in the USAAF. That is where this ring is said to have belonged to originally. An AAF buff would maybe know more about this ring. Maybe you know a WWII flyboy that might enjoy having it. It would look great polished up. Only markings I can see are \"Made in U.S.A.\" so I don\'t know the metal it is made of, I think if it was gold it would be marked. It is a bit rough cast on the underside. It has a break in the bottom of the finger as seen in the pics. Nice piece for the collector, a relic, the guys that earned and wore these are all but gone!
