I have for sale a super collection from one man . Private James Barton served in the United States army from 1942 to 1945 .he served in ordinance part of 34-82nd mam company. I have over 750 wwII letters spanning from 1942 to 1945 . I have 3 army jackets ,1 light tan army pants , 2 green army shirts , 4 light tan army shirts ,I have his cover and 2 ties , included in this sale are his 4 army ribbons, 11 army pins , 2 army buttons , I have his army selective service medal and army military Merrit medal .I have picture negatives of him in his uniform and of him and his wife, along with various other pictures of scenery, cars ,army jeeps, trucks and too many to look through. 100+ negatives , some are not legible , I have post cards in a scrap book ,a booklet from Paris of post cards ,roughly 50 + post cards, I have 10 extra army patches of his unit , I have news clippings, typed routes of March to tell soldiers how to get to a certain destination . The destinations are route to berka,route to oberaula, 2 routes of March to Nuremberg and hafenpreppach. I also have certificate saying he examined enemy military equipment , time magazine, 2 silk holiday post cards. I have his army driving certificates for what army vehicles he could drive .A poster of camp wheeler Georgia, A massive collection, he kept everything documenting his time in the war.
