\"SATURDAY\'S TOYS Presents...\" a one-of-a-kind original book illustration (pages 26-27) from the Golden Easy Reader Book (A Disney Easy Reader) of Walt Disney\'s \"Mickey Mouse and the Peanuts\" (ISBN: 0-307-11691-3)

The story for this book involves Mickey Mouse demonstrating the magical qualities found in peanuts! Each character in the story benefits from Mickey\'s offer of something having to do with peanuts... finally even solving Pluto\'s incessant barking with a full helping of peanut butter & jelly sandwiches for all. This particular scene features Mickey and friends as they make some peanut butter!

Features multiple layers with corrections as reflected in the finished book (shown below; book not included with sale). Characters throughout this story included Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck. Pages have edge wear and slight tears from adhesive tape previously used by the illustrator. In addition, some paper loss was incurred near the edges as a tape was used that allowed adhesive to soak through to the page above. Since separated; not impacting the work of the artist; most suitable for framing.

The future benefit of these original illustrations may be found in using small sections of the overall layout with colorful framing for a children\'s nursery, bedroom or playroom. In that light, multiple pieces of framed art could be created using just the various sketches and drawings shown in these images. In addition, a professional artist could use colored markers to enhance the pencil art, just as the colorist did for the final book presentation, allowing for a truly impressive piece of framed art.

The illustrations from this book project were found in the personal animation collection of the late Disney producer, director and story & layout artist, Roy Wilson (Robin Hood, The Rescuers, Goof Troop, DuckTales, Tale Spin, and more). Wilson and fellow illustrator Gene Biggs were credited with providing the illustrations for this project. The handwritten notes on the translucent pages are believed to be those of Roy Wilson (1939 - 2017).

Art was prepared exclusively for this Golden Reader Book; drawn on translucent paper, original graphite and blue pencil illustrations; with art layered in various sizes upon approx. 13\" x 17\" sheets for a \"Golden Reader\" project. Includes various layers of tape (providing exact placement on the finished art); requiring careful separation for future framing / exhibition of this art.

Illustration artwork sheets have been lightly folded throughout the past three decades of storage and is shipped in the same configuration. The art should be dry mounted or gently tacked to white art board for the best presentation of these pencil drawings. As illustrations of this type were not meant to last for decades beyond completion of the project, archival framing materials are recommended in order to preserve these timeless drawings.
