I don\'t know anything about it, found it in my attic. Has original intact glass front and sides, sides are see thru so you can see gears, back says patented Sep 11th 1877 Jan 15th 1878. It has a fast-slow on back, a time key, set alarm, alarm key. I have no idea if it works or how it works. When I turn the keys on the back, the hands move. It is about 7 inches tall and 5 inches long and 4 inches wide. Has a carrying handle on top. I think it\'s brass
