It is known that some USA fountain pen companies sold pens to French Market where 18K Gold Nibs were preferred.This nib feels different than the 14K Gold Waterman Nibs, the nib is softer but lacks the snapback feel to it. Please be careful when flexing the nib to avoid damaging the nib because it is soft nib. Nib has one or two small dents in it to tail end of nib, this is only noticeable when you remove the nib. When the nib is inside the section you will not be able to see dent. Pen is in good condition for it\'s age without any major scratches, chips, or cracks, but like any vintage pen it may have light scratches/signs of use. The Ebonite material has oxidized a bit to brownish color.
