THANK YOU for considering our almost brand-new in appearance, crisp, clean and collectible Illinois First Model \"Bunn Special Model\" 16 size, open face, Wadsworth 10K yellow gold fill, slot right, screw-back-and-bezel, fancy dress or more likely railroad case! Here\'s Illinois\' first dedicated railroad case, with a wide and smooth back framed by the distinctive “dot-dash” edge pattern, a thick railroad-approved neck, wide, wind-able crown, and distinctively designed two-step or wedding cake engraved bow! This much sought after case is in fully serviceable condition. I have restored and detailed this case right down to the threads so you get the best looking and working case possible! The back and bezel thread up easily, screw on and off smoothly, and both seat tight. The matching original crown\'s fluting is pretty much wear-free for a tight, sure grip, and it turns freely but, by design, does not extract, so only a lever-set (e.g., Bunn Special) movement will work inside. The bow is also its correct two-stage original, shows zero brass or damage, and pivots freely. The crystal is an extra thick beveled mineral glass model and really the only part showing any wear – some faint, ordinary pocket wear only. This fine case fits all standard-featured lever-set-ONLY movements. The case does show phenomenally minimal wear for a railroad model, including just very light and faint superficial scratching, zero marrings or doodlings, one micro repair notation only, and certifiably no dents, dings, dimples or depressions.
