Extremely Rare Rose Bowl by Thomas Webb of Stourbirdge England Marked WEBB on the bottom of this hand blown bowl (see mark) in photo # 8. I have owned only 2 pieces of Webb marked pieces w/ this type of Victorian ERA mark. The mark is in all Capitol letters etched w/ an Iridescent shine to the etching. It is rarely seen- vases and bowls from the Art Nouveau Era 1900’s- 1920’s vases and bowls are found Marked Thomas Webb & Sons especially Cameo Pieces made later than this piece. The Air Trap Pattern is Diamond Quilted and very smooth as only the quality of a Webb piece can feel- the Coralene is exquisite and very few glass beads are missing! Hand blown Pontil shows the Webb trait of being polished so low that the inner casing shows through the piece.

Jeweled piece- each beaded glass Coralene flower has a jeweled center.

Beautiful hand Crimping evenly spaced and consistently sized.

I have tried very hard to get the Webb mark to show in the photo but could not get the image to show better- if you have a suggestion please let me know how to do this
