6-1/2\" dia. Wedgwood Jasperware plate. Beautiful Wedgwood Blue with white bas-relief depicting busts of Prince Charles and Princess Diana facing each other and a crown of plumes over the top of their heads and a banner below reading: \"ROYAL WEDDING JULY 1981\". The outer edge is the typical white border of leaves. The reverse is imprinted with \"In celebration of H.R.H. (His Royal Highness) the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer St. Paul\'s Cathedral 29th July 1981\" and \"WEDGWOOD\" and \"MADE IN ENGLAND\". Below that are the impressions \"JV\" and \" Wedgwood made in England\".
A wonderful collector piece. Note that the Wedgwood factory closed in 2009 and no new English Wedgwood has been produced nor likely in the future.
The plate is in like new condition and come from a large collection of English pottery. see my other Wedgwood and Torquay. There are no packing or handling charges and shipping is at USPS priority actual cost. I gladly combine to save on shipping.
