A classic Wedgwood white bas-relief on matte pink Jasperware bean shaped box. The lid is trimmed with a decorative rose and foliage garland and features a central neoclassical Cupid Asleep cameo. The design is inspired by the Greek myth of Cupid and Psyche and depicts two Graces in the act of stealing Cupid\'s arrow while he sleeps. The base of the box is decorated with four of the charming Wedgwood Cherubs at Play motifs interspersed with curved lattice dividers.
