Wee Forest Folk is a line of fanciful miniatures handcrafted by the Peterson family and other artisans since 1972. Each tiny mouse is flawlessly and endearingly hand painted. This piece, \"Best Birthday Ever\" (#M-383) features a delighted youngster dressed in her birthday best as she surveys the decorated mail box full of cards and packages. In honor of the day she is wearing a pink tiara, pink polka-dotdress tied with a bow, and pink shoes. The tiny sculpture measures almost 1 3/4\" tall (including balloon) and wide at the base. Miss Mouse herself is less than 1\" tall. Box included - like new condition. Bottom is marked as a genuine Wee Forest Folk with Donna Peterson\'s initials as the creator, and 2009 imprinted as the year of copyright.
