The books we grew up on...these two classics are in great shape. They do have some edge rubbing on the cover edges, more prominently on the corners. Come corners are slightly dented in. There is some slight age fading, but barely noticeable. The spines are in solid shape, tight, and no visible hinges. Black Beauty has what appears to be a small water stain on the top of the front cover. Spine edges have slight rubbing and fading. Alice In Wonderland has corners folded about 1/4\" from page 95 - page 99. All pages are intact with little to no fading and no markings or other creases noted. The back cover of Black Beauty has some shelf rubbing stains. The previous owner\'s name is written in ink in the front end page. These books are in great shape given their age.
