In or around 1970, Westclox produced aStyle1A 1920 Model Reissue Alarm Clock. Therewere about 20,000 clocks released, most in nickel plate with a small number in 22K gold plate. This clock is one of the gold plated models. It measures 5 1/4\" in diameter and about 7 1/4\" in height to the top of the ring. Mechanically, the clock works well. Typically, once you wind it, you\'ll have to hold the clock in your hand anddo theflick of the wrist thing to make it start, then again, sometimes it starts on it\'s own. It runs well, keeps pretty good time and there is retard and advance room in the adjustment. Both the steady and repeat alarm functions work as they should as does the silent or \"off\" selector. There is wear to the printed alarm graphics on the top of the clock, as well as to the \"22K Gold Finish\" foil label on the back. There is a little plating loss on the back near the foil label, as well as on the gold bezel that surrounds the clock face. There are closeup photos of all of these conditions, so be sure to view and enlarge all of the photos. As you will see, it\'s still a very nice clock after 47 or 50 years.
