For sale: One Western Electric Telecommunications Line Patch unit featuring two 227B preamps(one for receive and one for transmit) as well as a 359B Equalizer. This unit adapts the four wiresneeded for the transmit & receive lines and adapts them to your stock 600 ohm two wire telephonecircuit. Ideal for Mom & Pop broadcast set-up, ham radio phone patching or network audio feeds.If you have a channel available on the other end, this could also be set up to do talk back. These weredesigned to send and received audio programming over standard Ma Bell telephone circuits. In privatesystems, such as Hollywood Studios, they are used similarly between studios on private line.
Condition: As removed from service. Used; unknown electrical condition. High quality Western Electricdevice utilizing the dual 1/4\" phono plugs or just single plugs. Heavy duty I/O. We see no damage orabuse. The pre-amps & EQ use the blue double-sided but keyed Cinch Jones in-line connectors showingthey are self contained but wired for I/O & power.
