Works well in Magnavox AC 2 amplifier (single stage activated,90V B+ , Stromberg Carlson Telephone Co. horn speaker, input fromCrosley Model 50 regenerative receiver with CX-300-A tube, ARBEIII battery eliminator power supply). When I attempt to use bothstages, the speaker overloads and distorts unless I turn the tubefilament rheostats down so far I can barely see any glow at allin the tubes.

I am unable to test this tube further since the Magnavoxamplifier is the only piece of equipment I have that it fitsinto. This tube has an unusual locking pin location, offsetapproximately 45 degrees from the "normal" position, soit will not work in most 1920\'s vintage radios and amplifiers.Therefore, I CANNOT GUARANTEE HOW WELL IT WILL PERFORM IN ADIFFERENT SETUP.
