This official large 1959 Christmas print measures approx 14 x 18 in envelope and was produced exclusively for President Eisenhower by HALLMARK Card Co. Most people do not realize Eisenhower was an artist and this is a print of his original work entitled Mount Eisenhower. The painting of a tall rocky butte over Lake Louise located in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, formerly called Castle Mountain was renamed on Jan 11, 1946 in appreciation of General Dwight D Eisenhower. HALLMARK produced this gift print in a very limited production of roughly 2200 exclusively for President Eisenhower as his official Presidential Christmas gift in 1959 to his close personal friends, VIPs and staff in the White House. This one is inexcellent condition with the outer envelope, inner folio with embossed presidential seal in white, the print with original tissue. This is quite unusual to find one in this good of condition-I have never seen one better. Insurance will be required, note the shipping cost.

This comes from the Sanford Fox collection who headed the social office at the White House Kennedy-Ford. Mr. Fox was in the CIA at this time.
