I purchased these glasses from the J.PetermanCompany in 1998 and I spent well over $165.00 for them then! Since they are sorare you may not know the history of this fine work of art. From 1910 onwardsthe White Star line \"First\" and \"Second Class\" DiningRooms, and Public Areas were enhanced by some of the finest crystal everproduced by Stuart Crystal of England. This culminated in the range used onboard R.M.S. Titanic on it\'s fateful voyage. These magnificent glasses havebeen recreated using designs taken from the original leather-bound sketchbookscontained in the archives of Stuart Crystal. This EXACT style of glasses havebeen recovered from the Titanic wrecksite. This carefully reproduced 32% lead crystal Carafe recreates the splendorof the \"First Class\" dining on board Titanic.
