WHITING DAVIS MESH PURSE

What a beauty! Whiting Davis is the \"KING\" of mesh handbags, and this is a wonderful example. It is a large purse, measuring almost 9\" top to fringe, and 5\" across at the frame. Gilt frame has a very distinct art deco stacked geometric design, and the baby fine mesh hangs perfectly from the frame. Lovely floral design decorates the mesh in shades of pinks, green and blue with black outlines. Inside is lined with creamy silk, and the pocket holds the original gilt purse mirror. There are a few areas where the silk has split and pulled away from the frame, but a stitch or two could take care of that. I wouldn\'t do a thing to it, though. Marked on the inside frame \"Whiting & Davis Mesh Bags\", and original blue hangtagremains in the pocket of the lining. A beautiful addition to your collection!
