I recently acquired a large silver plate service set in the ULTRA RARE Antique Silver plate. Please see our other sales for matching pieces. It is hard-to-find any single piece of this pattern online, some of the pieces I have you may never see again once they are sold! I even have the rare Water Pitcher availablethat replacement companies do even have listed in their catalogs!

That being said I would also like to mention the quality of this Pattern as well. These pieces are hand chased or tool, you can see themarks inside where they hammeredparts of the decoration outwards from the inside to make areas raised on the outside in the pattern. Theexterior are alsochasedall over in adraping garland pattern. This is an extremely detailed and lovelyVictorian pattern. This silver plate is so thickand heavy also the plating is super thick and shiny. Collectors and antique magazines all agree the feel and look of thismetal is luxurious enough to be mistaken for that of Fine Sterling Serving sets. It is absolutely gorgeous.

These pieces were used for display for many years in a private collection, some of the pieces saw more use than others though in their earlier years. All silverplate gets minor scratches and scuffs with time, but theseare in amazing condition for pre-owned with no plate loss or unsightly marks. They had not been polished for years so I took about 7 hours yesterday to clean the entire set. I removed the majority of the tarnish to make it presentable, but if you are picky about this you may want to quickly polish it again to remove any tarnish spots I may have missed.

*Damaged in shipment*... All of my items are insured against damage in transit. All insurance claims are filed online now & there may be a delay in how long it takes the insurance company to process the refund, also USPS claims may require items to be physically taken the post office for inspection should they ask for them- often photos are not enough for the claim to be processed.
*Items lost in shipment or not received*... If they are lost in transit, we will be required to wait the specified time by the shipper to file the insurance claim- there is no other way to do this as that is their rules and we will have to wait their time limits.
