Helping dad downsize a bit and we\'re getting rid of a few old things that he just doesn\'t have space for anymore.
This item is a beautiful William De Morgan tile. We believe that the design of this tile was created by the legendary William Morris for Membland House circa 1876. The full panel of tiles and more information about thehistory of the design can be seen here on the V & A . The tile is stamped \'Architectural Pottery Co Poole Dorset\' on the reverse. The tile is approximately 15.3cm x 15.3cm (6inches x 6inches). A truly lovely and very rare item.
