ITEM DETAILS

A lovely solid sterling silver child\'s knife and fork with mother of pearl handles in chased design. (AS10)

The cutlery set comes in the original red leather fitted case which is lined with red velvety plush.
The cutlery is hallmarked for Sheffield sterling silver, with date mark M for 1834. The makers mark is \'A & O\' which I believe is for Atkin & Oxley.
The set probably had a spoon at one point.
The knife and fork are in very good condition. The mother of pearl still look lovely with no noticeable flaws. The silver has some light scratches. I\'m sure they could be polished up. The box is in good condition and closes fine. There is some wear and rubbing to the leather as you would expect from a box of this age.
