For your consideration: This rare and beautiful mantle/kitchen clock made by the very famous clockmaker, William L. Gilbert, WM L. Gilbert Clock Company , Winstead Connecticut, USA. This is the rare and stunning Gilbert model andwas produced circa 1880-1890 in Winstead Connecticut. The clock is pressed oak in the \"Laural\" shape in the dark oak color. This clock is strikingly ornate and completely operable and would make a grand addition to your collection. This is one of the few Gilbert clocks that has the regular \"time\" chime and a separate \"alarm\" chime that both work.
