This very special paperweight was produced by what many believe is Scotland\'s premier glass artist, William (Willie) Manson Snr. This weight features very detailed small canes set into the outer area of the blue background to form a six petal floriform shape. Inside of that he has set 6 cane slices that appear as flowers. The central cane is surrounded by 8 green canes with gold 6 point star centers. These look as though they could be cross sections of barrel cactus. The paperweight measures 2-5/8\" (6.7 cm) in diameter and it is approximately 1-3/4\" (4.4 cm) tall. The piece is excellent condition without scratches or blemishes. It has the WM cane center bottom and is signed, dated and numbered \"William Manson SNR 2001 1/1\".The last four photographs are of the item as it was rotated.
