Part Description: Up for sale is a very rare and niceWinchester Midrange Vernier Tang Sight. Comes with installationscrews. The screws may or may not fit your rifle, sinch this was mounted on a pistol grip rifle, I\'mincludingthem for your reference. The sight aperature goes up and and down likes its supposed too. This sight is period correct to be installed on Winchester rifles from the late 1800\'s and early 1900\'s. There is the 73 code on the bottom, which means it was meant to be mounted on an 1873. The sight has the standard 2 and 3/16ths hole spacing so it will fit any Winchester model from about the 1870-1920\'s such as 1873, 1876, 1885, 1894, ect. The sight has small increments on the side for measuring distance. As you know, these sights are very hard to come by. This sight has the early \"thick base\" version and is even more rare! It\'s mainly a nice old blue finish patina. This sight could also be used for other Winchester models. Overall, this is a very nice thick base version midrange vernier sight that are getting very hard to find.
