Part Description: Original Winchester Model 54 Pre 64 Rifle Barrel in 30-06 Caliber. This barrel was made in 1929. This is quite the nice and rare barrel.The barrel is 24 inches long and is rifle style. This is the correctlengthfor a standard rifle. The dovetails are all in good shape. The markings are very readable. The bore is very good on this one. I would rate it an 8 or 9 out of 10.The barrel is mostly a blue /gray mix. Has some thinning of the finish in the most handled areas. The threading is in very nice shape. Overall, a very nice 54 barrel.
