$700.00

OKAY GANG, HERE\'S YOUR CHANCE TO REALLY SAVE ON A GREAT TRUMPET. AS NOTED BELOW, SELLING A GOOD PRODUCT ON THE INTERNET IS HARD, SINCE YOU HAVE TO COMPETE, WITH WELL, NOT SO GOOD. HOWEVER I HAVE A DOUBLE PROBLEM HERE. THIS HORN IS ESSENTIALLY THE POPULAR DTR-800SP. IT LOOKS LIKE IT, PLAYS LIKE IT. I CAN\'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE. EXCEPT IT\'S MARKED PRO-3000. THE PROBLEM BEING THIS WAS A SHORT RUN FOR ANOTHER SELLER AND I WAS INVITED TO PICK UP THE EXTRA HORNS OF THE RUN TO HELP THE MANUFACTURER CLEAR STOCK. SO LET\'S MAKE THIS A WIN/WIN/WIN. YOU GET A VERY NICE HORN, ALREADY PRICED GREAT, AT AN EVEN LOWER PRICE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ABLE TO CLEAR WAREHOUSE SPACE, AND FOR ME, I GET A LITTLE SALE IN THE PROCESS.
FIRST QUALITY EXCEPT FOR THE NAME. NOTE PICTURES ARE OF THE DTR-800 BECAUSE ,YOU CAN\'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE EXCEPT FOR THE ENGRAVING.Extra Bonus: I know there\'s usually not a great incentive to offer early on an sale, so let me give you one. To the FIRST buyer, even if you lose the sale, I\'ll send you a \"second chance offer\" so you\'ll have a chance to buy at your first offer price. So the high buyer will get one, but the FIRST buyer will get a break. So now you have an incentive to be the first buyer. NOTE TO BUYERS: Greetings all. One of the problems with selling over the internet is I can\'t hand you a horn and have you play it. I can\'t have you examine it close. Yep, I have pictures, but there\'s something about getting your hands on this horn.So look at my response, look at the comments, and use that to judge the following discussion. This is truly a very nice horn. I\'ve just had one of our local professional players come by to buy a flugelhorn (see other listing). While there he wanted to try a Raw Bach Stradivarius I had for sale.So I broke out two strads and this horn for him to try out. He was making comments such as \"well, I really will need a known professional level horn...I doubt this will make it.\" I got a phone call and left him with the horns while I went downstairs. I was listening as he was playing and I could tell he kept going back to one horn which he really sounded great on, I thought it was the Strad he wanted, but when I went back upstairs he was putting the Wisemann through it\'s paces. Now he upgraded his comments to \"ahh, you know, I can\'t find anything wrong with this horn.\" If you realize his original mindset, you can understand the huge attitude change as he played the horn. I\'m rather confident after he spends a few weeks with his Flugelhorn, he\'ll be back to buy this horn (if I have any left)............
I had a fellow who was transferring to our local university from a smaller college because he was switching his major to music. He was still using his student horn, and his mother wanted to upgrade him...but a new Strad (which the teacher recommended) was out of the question. She wanted to just buy the 800 for her son, but I rather insisted that he comes over and TRY the horn if at all possible. So he came over and I put out a line of horns, the 800 was just in the mix. The mix included TWO strad 37\'s along with some very nice Getzens (Among others). I didn\'t tell him anything about the horns he was playing and asked him to JUST PLAY and not look at the horns.Again and again he came back to the 800. He picked it over my personal Strad 37, over another 37, and a 43. (Which was a relief to the mother who was paying the bill). Frankly, I thought he would want my 37 and I\'d be having to do a little dancing to save mom the higher cost and not lose my horn...but no, this was absolutely his horn without consideration of price. So the last two players over to TRY this horn loved it. One a Music Major another a professional jazz player who just got off playing on one of the cruise ships.
SO, I\'m am very confident that this horn will make a lot of players happy. I\'m very confident that this horn will do well for the moving up High School or College player. While the best way to buy a horn is trying out a whole bunch or horns and comparing, that\'s not always an option. So if distance and/or cost limits your horn choice, I can strongly recommend this horn. If not, there\'s a 14 day return on it. (Just return in original shape and you get to cover shipping)For those looking for a Student horn, check our other listings. While it doesn\'t beat this horn in play tests, it\'s rather awesome in it\'s own right.
And for my personal 37?...it goes on the market when I get the next batch of these horns. (Note: It\'s taken a year to get these back in stock)

It has STAINLESS STEEL valves.
It has Schilke style Hexagonal valve caps, tuning slide braces and spit valves.
It has reinforced slides. The Slides, leadpipe and bell are yellow brass.
The Bell has engravings to add a little pizazz. Amado style water keys.
Bell Size is 4.92\"I played this horn several years ago at the distributor and thought it would be a nice pick up a few.The specifications and and production for this horn was developed by Kevin Powers, master brass instrument specialist. As I remember it was supposed to be a Bach Stradivarius 37 ML clone, but when I opened the box it had the Schilke Hex trim.
Knowing that Kevin used to design and build horns for Schilke, I thought it might actually be a B-1 Clone, but no, it plays like a Strad. When Kevin got back to me he told me the horn is essentially a Strad design, but he thought the Schilke trimm looked cooler (which it does).
The horn comes in a very nice Wisemann case with room for music, pens, and cell phone.
